A193 B7 Alloy Steel Round Bar
The ASME A193 designation covers fasteners intended for use in pressure vessels, valves, flanges, and fittings. Heat treated chromium-molybendum (AISI 4140) high-yield bolting steel for high pressure applications. A-193 B7 is considered as the most suitable for bolts used at temperature below 450°C with a minimum effect on its structural strength up to 1,000°F.
